The Emerald Coast Theatre Company will convert its performance space at 560 Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach into a psychedelic music hall for a special one-night-only performance of live music for the exclusive benefit of their capital campaign.

On Friday, July 12, let’s all witness a night full of love, music, and peace with New York-based dynamic entertainment duo Jordan Wolfe and Michelle Dowdy and take us to the ultimate ‘60s rock journey.

Jordan and Michelle will be lovingly recreating the iconic songs of 1967 which was considered by some as the greatest year ever for music or the “Summer of Love”. This energetic tribute will pay homage to the likes of The Beatles, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Monkees and more.

Michelle Dowdy is a MAC Award winner and a nightlife favorite who first took New York by storm as Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway production of “Hairspray,” racking up over 400 performances. She has gone on to play the role internationally and with Dallas Theatre Center. She also co-conceived and starred in the West Coast premiere of the circus/burlesque musical extravaganza “The Girlie Show. “Her acclaimed debut solo album “A Brass Act” is available on iTunes.

Jordan Wolfe is an actor/singer as well as a composer and arranger. His New York credits include lead roles at New York Classical Theatre, Musicals Tonight, Theatre for a New City, Prospect Theatre, The Duke Theatre on 42nd, Theater Row and NYMF. He was recently in the original Off-Broadway casts of two acclaimed new musicals: “Neurosis” and “Night of the Living Dead: The Musical,” which he also wrote. Wolfe has appeared on stage at more than 15 regional theaters, and his TV credits include “Law & Order” and “S.P.L.A.S.H” for PBS.

Tickets cost $40 per person. Through this, we can help raise funds for the ECTC’s  $125,000 capital campaign for their educational and professional programs.
