5th Annual Wine Women & Shoes Fundraiser

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2016) – It’s time to mark the calendar and save the date to sip, savor and shop during Annual Wine Women & Shoes Fundraiser (WWS).

This festive annual, four-day multi-event fundraiser is produced by Sinfonia Gulf Coast — the only fully professional non-profit orchestra on the Emerald Coast. Sinfonia was founded in 2005 with the mission of redefining the symphony experience.

Proceeds from this event benefit Sinfonia and its music education programs.

“Sinfonia’s WWS event has enabled our organization to increase the capacity of its music education initiatives by more than 300 percent over the last two years,” said Sinfonia Gulf Coast Founder and Music Director Demetrius Fuller. “Now in its fifth year with Sinfonia, WWS has become one of the top social events during each season and our patrons love that the proceeds benefit Sinfonia and its education programs throughout Okaloosa and Walton Counties. We have a whole line up of much needed music education programs such as LINK UP in partnership with Carnegie Hall, Paint the Music, musicians and guest artists in schools, Sinfonia Youth Orchestra program, and our Arts in Medicine collaboration with Sacred Heart Hospital. It is truly humbling to see the continued and growing support for Sinfonia and WWS, and that our patrons realize that they are putting their best foot forward to make this happen.”

Sole Sister Kick Off Lunch
Thursday, Jan. 12, 11:30 a.m.
Bijoux Destin at The Market Shops, Miramar Beach, Fla.

This Wine Women & Shoes preview peek party features a gourmet wine luncheon featuring the tasty culinary talents Bijoux executive chef Jack McGuckin paired with elegant wines provided by Sonoma Valley’s Pip Wines, followed by an exciting fashion preview featuring trending women’s apparel, accessories and, of course, plenty of sensational shoes — not to mention door prizes, raffle items and more. Tickets are $75 each and include all food, wine and gratuities.

Vintner Dinners
Friday, Feb. 17, 6 p.m.
Various venues in South Walton and beyond

Hosted in elegant homes and gracious hotels and restaurants throughout the region, Wine Women & Shoes select Vintner Dinners pair the talents of local and regional “celebrity” chefs with some of the country’s most acclaimed vineyards for a delicious evening that is a true celebration of food and wine. Tickets are $275 per person and include all food, wine and gratuities.

Bubbles, Brews & Culinary Q’s
Saturday, Feb. 18, 4-6 p.m.
Coastal Ballroom, Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, Miramar Beach, Fla.

Back by popular demand, Bubbles, Brews & Culinary Q’s has expanded into an even more effervescent experience with the an added spotlight on the culinary arts — namely, a “haute” menu of barbecue-inspired gourmet light bites. Sip Ferrari Sparkling wines at the Bubbles Bar as well as select wines by featured Wine Women & Shoes winemakers, savor a selection of locally crafted micro brews and ales by Grayton Beer Company, tuck into delicious light bites and enjoy a silent auction and live music performed by funky bluesy fusion local favorite Dread Clampitt. Tickets are $35 per person.

Wine Women & Shoes Signature Event
Sunday, Feb. 19, 2-5 p.m.
Ballroom Level, Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, Miramar Beach, Fla.

The 2017 Wine Women & Shoe’s Signature Event promises to be the see-and-be-seen soiree of the season. This extravaganza presented by Dermatology Solutions is filled with fashion, wine & spirits, food and retail shopping, high-end auctions, live music performances and more. Once past the paparazzi guests can mix and mingle while sampling wine & spirits, and bidding on silent auction items and entering exciting contests such as Keys to the Closet and more. The event centers on a high-energy fashion show and the excitement crescendos with a live auction of high-end auction lots of reserve wine, artful excursions, luxury travel trips and more. The Men’s Room designed with the fellas in mind features a bourbon-based cocktail, large screen TV and cigars. Tickets are $100 per person and include all food, wine, reserved table seating and valet parking.

As the region’s only fully professional symphony orchestra, Sinfonia Gulf Coast is committed to presenting high-caliber events and providing much-needed educational initiatives throughout the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast. Wine Women & Shoes events benefit Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s music education programs, which include: musicians/guest artists in schools, free orchestra concerts, bus transportation for students, Sinfonia Youth Orchestra program, Arts in Medicine initiative with Sacred Heart Hospital and LINK UP concerts with third through fifth graders in partnership with Carnegie Hall.
